The Hon. Dr Anne Aly launches the National Network

The Hon. Minister for Early Childhood Education, Dr Anne Aly, launched the National Child and Family Hubs Network at Karitane in Carramarr, Sydney on 22 November.

The National Child and Family Hubs Network brings together collective expertise in health, early education, NGO’s, community organisations, research institutes, universities, philanthropy and government.

The Hon. Dr Anne Aly stated “If we get those early years right, we have the ability to change the trajectory of a child’s life”.

The launch was well attended by individuals and organisations working to make a difference for families as well as children and families who attend Karitane.

Highlights from the launch included reflections from the Hon. Dr Anne Aly, National Child and Family Hubs Network Chair Prof. Sharon Goldfeld, SNAICC Early Years National Director, Jo Goulding, CEO of Karitane Grainne O’Loughlin and local parent Anne-Marie who generously shared the benefits her family had experienced throughout their time at  Karitane.
