Our Place has released its 2026 Roadmap and Evaluation, providing new evidence on how coordinated, place-based approaches delivered through school-based community hubs are strengthening service coordination and supporting better outcomes for children and families.
Key findings from the Evaluation indicate that:
- Access to services for families has increased, supported by a 98% increase in access to wrap-around health and wellbeing services.
- Children are entering school more prepared and ready to learn, with 80% of families reporting positive school transitions.
- Parents and carers report increased confidence, with over 90% feeling confident supporting their child’s learning at home.
- Adult engagement and learning opportunities have expanded, with more than 5,700 attendances recorded in adult learning programs.
- Partnerships are stronger and more effective, with 83% of partners reporting that the Our Place Approach improves service delivery.
The Roadmap and Evaluation provide practical insights into how integrated, place-based approaches are being implemented and strengthened across diverse communities.
